Like most of you, I’ve been drawn towards white lace dresses for quite some time now and this beauty from Asos perfectly combines the off the shoulder trend with my love for white, embroidered dresses.
Found this dress by mistake just before it sold out and I cannot stop wearing it! 🙂
For this dusty pink, loose fit cardigan now on sale at Warehouse, follow the link here. Love the colour, very girly and in trend and goes with quite a big part of my summer wardrobe.
These amazing shoes (as close to Valentino as you can get without going bankrupt) came from Nordstorm, after Tyler from Girl Meets Gold has turned them into her staple summer shoes! Tyler’s one of my favourite bloggers, she’s brill, love every outfit she puts together! 🙂 The shoes have sadly sold out but Heti from Dune are similar with slight colour variations, link here.
The nude, scalloped bag is from Asos, link here, and the rode gold tassels are from HM. I could totally wear nude all through summer and not just out and about in Scarborough! 🙂
Hope you’re all enjoying the weekend and have a great week!
Until we meet again
A while ago, just before the Tour de France came to Yorkshire, hubby and I went for a day out in Knaresborough.
We were looking for a nice place we’ve not seen before to have a nice day out as the weather was dreamy and while researching on the internet hubby stumbled upon Knaresborough.
After an hours’ drive, we pulled up into the parking space next to the police station and the first thing that took my breath away was the parking charge: just £1.60 for 4 hours!!!!! Absolutely unheard of!:)
After getting over that, we entered the gate to the castle and stopped to look around.
The outfit of the day was loose and casual, with scalloped black shorts and floral, tapestry brogues from Miss Selfridge, my fav floral shirt from New Look (now sold out but similar available if you follow the link), my round sunglasses from Topshop and my quirky little camera bag from Accessorize!
As soon as we actually got around the castle, the most amazingly stunning view opened up and it was love at first sight! 🙂
Quite upsetting, my camera was having an off day but even that could not take much away from the view!
The dreamy houses, the magic places with utterly captivating stories behind them, the quirky little shops, the boat rides, the walks packed full of sculptures and little caves, and my favorite accessories at the time, the yellow bikes made Knaresborough a must-make-a-habit-out-of-visiting kind of place! 🙂
I’m lucky enough to live in between two amazing cities in North Yorkshire, York and Scarborough!
And as much as I love my little town, and I really do :), having the seaside under half hour away is always tempting when a day off happens to be happy and bright and inviting us to enjoy the last few days of Summer!
I got that little cat ears ring from a Vintage Fair in York and can’t wait for the next one in 2 weeks in Scarborough! 🙂
And before I finish this little post, I wanted to introduce you to the black and white love of my life, Cisse! 🙂
This gorgeous ball of fur has been in our lives for more than 2 years now, and got his name from the then best Newcastle striker Papis Cisse!
And no it’s not me that is obsessed with Newcastle, or that big of a push over as to let hubby name the kitten after a Newcastle player… 🙂
At the time we got Cisse, we fell in love with another little kitten they had and we were going to pick him up a month later as he was a lot tinier than Cisse, so we decided hubby will name Cisse and I will name the little one.
As it happened, we never got the second kitty, and Cisse remained Cisse, which I suppose is becoming of a black and white kitten that is as feisty in life as his name sake on the pitch! 🙂
This coming week I’m so excited to be reunited with my parents and my gorgeous old lady, Lisa – my gorgeous cat which stayed behind with my parents once l ventured into the big wide world! 🙂
So, hope everybody has something fab to look forward to this week and until we meet again,
Since today is that happy 25th of December day 🙂 I hope everybody is having a very Merry Christmas! 🙂
