Summer Sales have started already and for once I found myself in a perfect location for shopping, Liverpool One! Whoohoo! lol
After the most amazing night spent at Anfield with Bon Jovi on their This House is Not for Sale Tour, retail therapy naturally followed the next day, and I will happily share some of my amazing finds soon, but for now, this post is about a mini trend I am all here for, the fringed bags.
Didn’t have to visit too many shops to find my top 3, in fact the first 2 are from Zara and the last one is from Mango.
This gorgeous black macrame fringed bag unfortunately sold out from Zara, but have found a fab alternative on sale at Asos. Here’s the link in case it does come back in stock, which happens all the time with all retailers. This style is a bit more of a classic and can be taken to work paired with a linen suit, but can also look right at home with a floaty dress on the beach.
When I saw the above bag at beginning of Spring 2019, I thought it would be an instant hit and it will invade Instagram, but it proved to be a quiet hero that actually ended up in the Zara sale. It is like a work of art, so many stunning details from the handles to the wooden details and the dressed up basket. It is however a bit uncomfortable to hold on your shoulder due to the round basket, but if you flip it to the back it will do its job just fine! 🙂 And to be honest, it is multifunctional! 🙂 I think it will make an unique and gorgeous hanging basket for a little green in your home after it has run its course as a bag! 🙂
This last one is a brilliant replica of the Cult Gaia Angelou Bag but it comes at a fraction of the cost (only £12.99 in the sale now) from Mango, in both black and this rich rust colour which perfectly compliments any shade of tan in your shoes or linen, beige and earth tones in your outfit.
If you haven’t found your perfect investment bag for SS2019, I hope these 3 can be real contenders for you! 🙂
Until we meet again,
