If you are ever going to be brave enough to wear red (if that’s a bit of a statement colour for you), then Valentine’s Day (or even week if you want to stretch it out :)) is your time to do just that and wear it with complete confidence and sass! 🙂

This is a bit of date night outfit, not too dressy and cute enough to feel you turned on the charm and managed not to scare your date with too much going on, as I sometimes tend to do when I’ve been given the go ahead on a night out outfit! lol

It was a windy, freezing kind of day so only managed to keep my shivering down for a couple of photos lol, but I do think the outfit manages to make an impression none the less! 🙂 We were also trying out my new lens, the 40mm pancake, which is a bit of head scratcher to me momentarily, not sure it’s the best for outfit photos, so please excuse the photo quality which could be a lot better! 🙂 We are researching and hopping to conquer it soon! 🙂

The blazer is from H&M found here, gorgeous red and slim, flattering fit and at only £34 (and by the way, are you as impressed as I am with the amazing stuff H&M have come up with lately? And I don’t mean just in fashion, I love their home range at the moment as well!), the dress is new on Asos from Glamorous, found here, very cute pattern, however unlined, which you would think a must when you pay £33, but I guess it would make it easy to have it as a beach dress as well, the red round bag is from Zara, now unfortunately sold out, a fab dupe for the ‘out of my reach’ Mansur Gavriel found here (which I swear I would go to boot camp for a month if it meant I could have it lol), but I have seen Primark do a similar one at only £6, and the patent ankle boots are my best ever buy from Dune, still found in selected sizes, in the sales here.

Hope this little outfit gives you an idea of what to wear if you have plans for Valentine’s Day, but even if you choose to curl up with a bowl of popcorn and a movie, hope you have a fab day! 🙂

Until we meet again,

All my love,

D

xoxo
